Game Jam Day 5.5 - Release Day


I feel good with the state of Catzpah, and I'm ready to submit it to the Game Jam as well as release it into the wild.


New Stuff

I got a "pause" menu working. It floats in front of the player and toggles on and off. It allows the player to end the level early, go back to the main menu, or dismiss the pause menu and keep playing. 


Release Information

I built releases for the Quest, Pico, and Windows. I only have the knowledge and capability to test the game on my Quest 2. Hopefully the game works for the other release types as well. If not, someone please let me know so that I can remove them from availability. I uploaded some photos from in-game, as well as a gameplay video to the game page. The trailer is also below. 

I am looking forward to the Gam Jam voting period where I can play other games that people have been working on. If anyone has feedback on Catzpah, please feel free to comment or post wherever. While I don't plan on any more dev log posts, I am planning on doing a retrospective here after the voting period of the Game Jam. Until then, everyone have fun!

No , it does not work  =( , turns out all windows Mixed reality headsets are exclusive to direct X and godot only runs in opengl/vulcan
